Wild Rovers
NWC Store for Rover shirts and merchandise!
This group, consisting of all Members-at-large and chapter members who paid additional dues to be accorded the honor of the title "Wild Rover", has been formalized in order to be represented on the International Board in support of and agreement with the Mission Statement of NWC, Inc.
Requirements for secondary (not at-large) membership are attendance at three Highland Games and five NWC events annually. At-Large Rovers are encouraged to form Chapters in their area. Rover Application.
Wild Rovers will have their own Chapter Shirt for members only, as do Chapters.
There will also be a "I partied with the Wild Rovers" shirt for fund-raising.
The Prime Directive for Wild Rovers is to market the NWC to areas that have no chapters. This is accomplished by performing a Pub review, filling out the pub critique, and submitting it for inclusion in the First NWC Celtic Pub Guide. Approved Pubs will receive a certificate to post proudly. Of course you will inform the pub owner/manager that you are doing this and would like to hold NWC functions in their establishment. In return, you may fill his pub with wild kilted men and lasses, which can only enhance their business.
Contact Rick Matthews for details.

Member Organizations

The Wild Rovers special project is the recommendation of their local Celtic pubs, meeting places, etc to the entire membership. The Rovers will introduce the NWC to these establishments, and , if deserving, will recommend a certificate and stickers be awarded to show the approval of the NWC. We Came , We Partied, We Endorsed.
see certificate
In this manner, Members-at-large will have a role in the marketing and promotion of the NWC and may help in the formation of a Chapter in their area.
